Our Story

Signature Labs was founded to fill a gap in the testing industry in South Florida by offering services that are professional and private for all.

Founder Alexis Ingraham was working in the dental field when asked about DNA testing. That led her down a path of research, discovery, and ultimately, purpose. She realized there was an unmet need in the South Florida community, especially among Black and Brown families, for a trusted, culturally sensitive testing service.

People had questions, concerns, and fears about how their DNA was being handled but very few providers were offering clarity, reassurance, or accessibility.
